Matthew is SEFKA's most recently qualified Black Belt and achieved this at just 11 years old. Matthew started karate when he was 6 years old at Chappel School, training with Sensei Channa Frohlick (4th Dan). As he progressed through the grades Matthew began training at other SEFKA clubs , including Bures and Colchester with Sensei Tim Murcott (6th Dan). Later Matthew trained at Sudbury with Sensei Trevor White (7th Dan). Matthew having attained his black belt now enjoys continuing with his training and assisting with training at Bures
